"How can we reclaim the power of the collective
in service of our communities?"
in service of our communities?"
How to collectively move from despair to connection and action?
In this time of profound shifts, as the political, environmental, economic and social systems we have known are collapsing, we witness both great collective despair – and a great opening for new, more life-serving modalities of human connection. The practices of participatory leadership provide tools for collective action and sense-making in such times. These practices offer a container that can hold the pain and the joy, that can provide a place of authenticity from which hope arises and enables inspired action.
This training is inspired by the unique history and severe challenges witnessed in Eastern Europe, as well as by the wish to dive into the unique strengths of the region which can catalyse our collective power to co-create the future we want.
While this training is rooted in the experiences of Eastern Europe, the learnings, the practices and the processes are tools for hosting transformational conversations in any setting - personal, organizational or community.

Some of the questions we will explore...
- What are the deeper human longings underneath the pain, despair, cynicism and negativity about our collective future that fuel so many conversations – in intimate, community, organizational settings?
- How to constructively surface and amplify these deeper longings to enable people to re-connect, re-build trust and confidence, find allies and create communities to bring the change they want to see in the world?
- How can connection with nature and land support us in creating solutions that are truly life-serving for people and the planet?
- How can we (re-)build or (re-)create communities right where we are so that we can support each other in creating the world we want to live in?
- How can we become the change we want to see in the world?
- How can we bring back the practices to our own communities?
